Mountain huts & other sleeping options
There are two mountain huts in the rear Binntal, the Binntalhütte run by SAC Delémont and the private Mittlenberghütte. On the Ernergalen, you can sleep on straw in the "Schäre" alpine hut, which offers hikers and mountaineers shelter and accommodation. In the summer months, you can eat anywhere here.

SAC Binntalhut
The SAC Binntalhütte is situated at an altitude of 2275 m, 20 minutes from the Italian border. The hut has 50 places (dormitory), is open all year round and from June to September the hut is the guarded.
