Press release — Bus alpin Binntal has commenced summer operations

Bus alpin provides access to destinations that would otherwise be inaccessible by public transport. On Saturday 13 June 2026, the Bus alpin Binntal resumed its summer service. There is now also an afternoon service from Brunnenbiel to Fäld.

Press release – Valais parks support local food

The second edition of the Valais Parks Film Nights took place in March and April. Each year, the three Valais nature parks – the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, the Parc naturel régional de la Vallée du Trient and the Binntal Landscape Park – select a film on a sustainability topic that is of particular interest to them, followed by a discussion with local producers and experts.

A look back at the Park Festival & General Meetings 2026

Amidst glorious spring weather, the fourth Binntal nature Park Festival took place in Ernen on 25 April – once again combined with the annual general meetings of the Landscape Park and the Tourist Association in the morning. The event was a resounding success in every respect: the day was marked by numerous interested visitors, dedicated staff and an all-round positive atmosphere.

How can we bring the nature park to life for visitors? This was the focus of this year’s training course for park guides at the Binntal Landscape Park. The programme centred on specific projects, peer discussion and new approaches to on-site interpretation.

An immersive experience in the natural paradise of Halsesee

From Brunnebiel we hike to the natural jewel Halsesee and back to Fäld. On the way we taste the gold medal cheese of the Binneralp, visit the remains of a historic lime kiln and explore a moor with a ten-thousand-year history.
