Binntal Landscape Park Association
The "Landschaftspark Binntal" association was founded on October 4, 2002 with the aim of establishing the Binntal Landscape Park. Since being awarded the label "Regional Nature Park of National Importance" in 2011, the association has been responsible for the implementation and further development of the charter.
General meeting
The general meeting of members takes place annually on the last Saturday in April. If Easter falls on the last weekend in April, the AGM takes place on the penultimate Saturday in April. The AGM is the supreme body of the association. Members are the municipalities as well as businesses and private individuals from the park population, the rest of Switzerland and abroad.

The Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the executive body and is responsible for day-to-day business. It comprises at least nine members, with one representative from each park municipality:
- Moritz Schwery, President, Head of the Visp Agricultural Center
- Francesco Walter, Vice-President, President of the municipality of Ernen
- Chantal Carlen, lawyer and constitutional councillor
- Rudolf Jossen, President of the municipality of Binn
- Rita Wagner Seiler, Deputy Cantonal Architect
- Sven Wirthner, Department of Hunting, Fishing and Wildlife
- Armin Zeiter, Mayor of Grengiols
- Edwin Zeiter, Mayor of Bister
- Adeline Zumstein, Co-Managing Director of the Archeos office
Be part of the park
The "Landschaftspark Binntal" association supports the "Landschaftspark Binntal" regional nature park project. Individuals, couples, legal entities and public bodies can become members of the supporting association. The members determine the direction and progress of the park project.
