Binn – Schaplersee – Heiligkreuz – Binn

Hiking trail

Covered with snow
The hike leads from Binn through the hamlet of Wilere, ascending quite steeply through the mountain forest up to the Kaffeestafel.

Afterwards, you reach the less steep and treeless plateau of Schapleralpe, from where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. The trail continues with a final ascent to the Schaplersee - a small pearl at the foot of the rugged Hirlihorn. Then, the route returns to Schapleralpe and from there, through a picturesque alpine meadow landscape with beautiful larch trees via Salzgäb and Bschissni Matte to Fleschbach. Through the mountain forest, you then descend towards Heiligkreuz. A little above the hamlet, the path turns right and follows the contemplation path back to Wilere and Binn.
