This alpine tour combines forest roads, rooty trails and historic villages – from Binn to Ernen and to the holiday village of Fiesch. A real adventure.This tour starts in Binn and begins with a gentle climb on a nice forest road to Äbnimatt – the perfect start for a varied mountain bike experience.
Soon it gets more exciting: the trail down to Bärg surprises with rooty sections, tight switchbacks, and small technical challenges – a pleasure for experienced all-mountain and enduro riders.
The next part goes through the dense, mossy green Schlundwald – quiet, cool, and a bit mysterious. After crossing the Ärnerwald, the view opens towards Ernen, where a detour into the historic village center with its baroque church and cobblestone alleys is really worth it.
To finish, the connecting paths wind with great views towards Fiesch – an impressive finale in beautiful nature.
This tour combines wild alpine landscapes with cultural highlights – for sporty bikers who love nature and atmosphere.

Signalization
From Binn, follow the road down the valley into the Binntal. After 500 meters, turn left at the first bridge. Follow the road uphill to Rufenacher.
The route then continues on a forest road to Äbnimatt. There, a single trail starts. Follow this trail to Bärg. There, keep right.
The path is now a bit flatter and goes through the Schlundwald forest to point 1405 near Chouegga. There, join the road and follow it downhill to Ernen. To go to the village center, turn left there.
After the village center, turn right and follow the farm track to Breita. There, turn right again and follow the path down to the power station.
Go up to the main road and turn right. At the roundabout, take the second exit and soon after turn left to Fiesch Feriendorf train station.
