Press release — Guest of honor vifra 2025 Aletsch Goms region

From May 23 to 28, 2025, the Visp Spring Exhibition (VIFRA) will open its doors for the 44th time, attracting visitors from across the canton. This year, the event has a special theme: the Goms district is the guest of honor and will present itself under the motto “tangibly different.”

An experience-rich concept with regional flair
The Aletsch Goms region will showcase a diverse animation program, engaging panel discussions, and a new immersive experience that authentically reflects the region’s wide range of offerings. Culinary delights will be provided by the experienced gastronomic team from Restaurant Tenne, offering visitors regional specialties. Another highlight is the beer bar featuring local brewers, inviting guests to socialize and enjoy.

Strengthening interregional cooperation
A special focus is placed on the collaboration with the Aletsch Kollektiv, a tourism cooperation of the six major Upper Valais destinations, working on new interregional offers.

The four destinations—Aletsch Arena, Bellwald, Goms, and the Binntal Landscape Park—will present themselves at VIFRA under the theme “tangibly different,” offering visitors a unique insight into the diversity of the region.
