A look back at the Park Festival & General Meetings 2026

Amidst glorious spring weather, the fourth Binntal nature Park Festival took place in Ernen on 25 April – once again combined with the annual general meetings of the Landscape Park and the Tourist Association in the morning. The event was a resounding success in every respect: the day was marked by numerous interested visitors, dedicated staff and an all-round positive atmosphere.

Gratitude, dialogue and an insight into the park’s work

The Park Festival is deliberately intended as a thank you to members, partner businesses, the local community, visitors and all supporters. At the same time, it offered an opportunity to showcase the park’s diverse work and engage directly with the local community.

Various information stands focused on key themes of the park’s current work:

-Sustainable product cycles and regional produce
-Biodiversity in built-up areas, particularly nesting aids for birds that nest in buildings
-Livestock protection coordination within the park area
-Tourism development, including digital guided tours
-Environmental education, with hands-on activities and creative initiatives for children and adults

The stands were well attended and provided a space for exchange, discussion and new ideas for the region’s further development.

Cuisine, music and socialising

Local partner businesses provided refreshments, impressing visitors with regional specialities and enriching the event with culinary delights:

-Berghotel Chäserstatt / Ernergalen Beer
-Restaurant & Hotel ErnerGarten
-Sport Café, Ernen
-Wirtschaft St. Georg, Ernen

The Parkfest was accompanied by the Ärnerbüebe, whose music created a lively and authentic atmosphere.
