Grengiols alpine dairy

The alpine dairy cooperative in Grengiols, set up in 1927, still has 10 suppliers producing around 70 tonnes of cheese annually. The well-known "Gomser 55", a protected local brand, has been produced in the village dairy for decades.

The cooperative now also produces raclette cheese and in 2010 received the AOC raclette label. The popular "Grängjerli" and other dairy products are also marketed under the Binn nature park label.
