Haus Mühlebach
The holiday home has enough parking spaces and children can play on the playground in front of the house.
This short walk takes you from the old part of the village of Ernen, past giant maple trees towards the "gallows", up to the ridge of the hill, Moosjihügel, and further on to Mühlebach.
This short walk takes you from the old part of the village of Ernen, past giant maple trees, towards the "gallows", and up to the ridge of the hill, Moosjihügel. Then you cross the idyllic small spruce forest before you reach the "Chännle", or impressively constructed wooden water channel for the irrigation of the meadows. You can either walk back to Ernen across the meadows or take the PostBus.

The showpiece of Ernen is the village square (Dorfplatz), around which numerous historic buildings are grouped, e.g. the St. Georg tavern (1535), the "Tellenhaus" (1576) with the oldest Tell frescos in Switzerland or the "Zendenrathaus" (dated 1750).
«Bergland Produkte» is a farm and 'life' community comprising six adults and five children. We operate an organically-based agri-tourism farm in picturesque Ernen, at 1,200 metres above sea level.
As in the generation house, Leuenberger relies heavily on regional ingredients and local production.
Make a stop in the small hamlet and look at the sunburned houses: Mühlebach has the oldest village centre in Switzerland of timber construction. Here there is a signposted house trail leading to objects worthy of seeing.
