On this fairly easy hike, you can enjoy the view towards Ernen and the entire Goms region.
You walk down the village lane, passing the beautiful church of Grengiols and village meadows.
The church of Grengiols is unlike other churches in that it is not aligned from east to west but from south to north. The layout of the graveyard is also unique. The graves in the graveyard are ordered according to marital status. Those who were married are buried in the lower graveyard and those who were single in the upper graveyard.
The path takes you further to the old irrigation channel known as "Milleri". You follow the direct route via "Wiissturre" to "Unner Flüeh" or choose the more level route via "Hilsischlüecht" to "Unner Flüeh". From this traditional Alpine foothill village, it is worth making the final climb up to "Ober Flüeh". Here, you can enjoy a wonderful view over Ernen, Fiesch and the entire Goms region.
We recommend returning via the alternative route.
