Goes well with: raclette, fondue, cold meat and cheese platters
The growing season in the mountains is very intense and short. Within a very short time, large quantities of fruit accumulate, which must be preserved for the rest of the year. Drying is a popular method in the dry Valais air. Our ancestors used to make delicious marinades from wine, sugar and spices to refine these dried fruits.
