Seasonal pesto
Pesto is an uncooked, pasty sauce that originated in Genova in Roman times. Typically, herbs, nuts and garlic are crushed in a mortar, mixed with cheese and oil and served with pasta dishes. The hand-cut ingredients for our pesto creations are heated briefly and gently for a better shelf life and a full-bodied flavor.
