Reneclaude
Reneclaude jam made from Binner and Valais fruits can be described as a particularly fine delicacy. It stands out from conventional plum jam. It is considered the queen of plums with an incomparably spicy and sweet aroma. Due to its high natural sugar content, the taste is reminiscent of liquid honey with a fruity freshness. Depending on the variety and ripeness, the colour varies from a bright sunny yellow to apple green or amber. The fruits are very juicy and soft-fleshed, resulting in a smooth, creamy or velvety consistency. This jam is often perceived as a rare discovery or, in particular, as a gourmet product. It is excellent as a classic spread on bread, with fine pastries, in yoghurt or as a fruity component in meat sauces.
