Pears

Pear jam made from Valais pears has a naturally subtle, refined sweetness. The aroma is mildly sweet, honey-sweet or subtly tart. Depending on the variety of fruit, there are nuances of nutmeg or caramel (especially in very ripe fruits or varieties such as Williams pears). It is characterised by juicy flesh, which can have different effects in the jam. Velvety soft, creamy and melting on the tongue. Occasionally, the slight graininess of the pear is highlighted as a sign of quality for real fruit. The appearance varies depending on the variety, from golden yellow to amber or naturally cloudy and authentic. Pear jam is versatile. A fruity treat that tastes perfect on breakfast bread or goes well with a cheese platter, as well as in natural yoghurt or as a filling for fine pastries.

Ingredients: Pears VS-CH, sugar CH, gelling agent pectin, acidifier lemon juice.
