This alpine tour combines forest roads, rooty trails and historic villages – from Binn to Ernen and to the holiday village of Fiesch. A real adventure.
In the Binntal Landscape Park with its attractive paths, hikers and bikers occasionally get in each other's way. Tolerance and mutual understanding, adjusting your speed and stopping and dismounting help to solve this problem.
Would you like to get on an e-bike but don't have one with you? Then you can hire one from Sport Café Ernen. Incidentally, the daily rental fee is discounted with the Binntal Landscape Park guest card.
For e-bikers, the municipality provides a charging station for e-bikes in Binn. This is located to the right of the arched bridge. The cables for the most popular models are available on site.
A charging station is also provided by the municipality in Grengiols. This can be found next to the Grängierstuba restaurant. If you don't have a charger with you, you can pick one up at the restaurant, at least for the Bosch systems.
E-bikes must be equipped with daytime running lights on all public roads. In addition to roads, this also includes forest and mountain paths and bike trails.
The Stoneman Glaciara leads from Fiesch up to the Great Aletsch Glacier and back to Mörel. The ascent to the 2,451 m high Breithorn Pass follows with an altitude difference of almost 1,600 meters. This is followed by the descent into the Binntal valley. The route then continues along the Rhone towards Obergoms.
