Von Feld zu Feld / d'un champ à l'autre
From May 2026, a new collection exhibition will be on display at the Binntal Regional Museum. In addition to objects from Valais rural culture, it will also present some surprising historical everyday objects from the collection of Gerd and Helene Graeser-Andenmatten. The Binntal Regional Museum collaborated with the least association and the Valais artist collective Facteur to select the objects.
Von Feld zu Feld / d’un champs à l’autre is a co-creative project that invites the population and visitors to the Binntal Landscape Park to discover the Graeser-Andenmatten collection at the Binntal Regional Museum and engage with the objects in the collection. The aim is to actively involve the local population in the selection of objects for the new collection exhibition in a playful and exciting way, enriching them with stories and meanings. Conceived by a transdisciplinary group, the project offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future history of this collection and to embrace the museum as a living space.
The project is now complete. It will be documented in the exhibition “Das hat mir noch gefehlt!” (That's what I was missing!) at the Binntal Regional Museum and in a publication from May 31.
