Covered with snow
A simple circular trail which takes you past some unique religious buildings and an old irrigation channel. The hike takes around 2 hours. You walk down the village lane, passing the beautiful church of Grengiols and village pastures and meadows.
The church of Grengiols is unlike other churches in that it is not aligned from east to west but from south to north. The layout of the graveyard is also unique. The graves in the graveyard are ordered according to marital status. Those who were married are buried in the lower graveyard and those who were single in the upper graveyard.
The path takes you further along the old irrigation channel known as "Milleri" to the hamlet of ze Hiischre. It is definitely worth visiting the Chapel of St. Anne here. You follow the path along the gently rising road to "Binnelti" towards Bister and then further on to "Chrizacher". From here, you take the Roman road/Heerstrasse back to Grengiols.
